2025: A Year in Review – A Year of Growth, Collaboration & Big Wins!

 

As we wrap up another fast-paced year in the world of branded merchandise, we thought we would look back, to celebrate and say thank you to everyone who’s been part of our 2025; A year that has seen industry recognition to new partnerships and some seriously exciting plans for 2026, this year has been more than we could have hoped for…

Winning at the Sourcing City Awards

Let’s start with something we’re still buzzing about, our win at the Sourcing City Awards 2025. Voted for by suppliers across the industry, making them one of the most genuine measures of the distributors who are doing things right. To be recognised by our peers and partners in this way means the world to us.

It’s a huge testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that goes into every day here at Boosters. Whether it’s helping a small business kickstart their brand presence or supporting large corporate clients with complex campaigns, this award reflects the commitment we bring to every project.

To all who voted and each client who trusts us with their brand – we thank you – we couldn’t do any of it without you.

Taking Our Brand on the Road

Showcasing merchandise and how it can work for you is a big part of what we do so to be able to be at 4 business shows this year was a great chance for us to do this – thank you for all of the work put in to make the West Country Business Show in Exeter & Cornwall Chamber Fair in July & The Devon Chamber show in Plymouth and Construction Summit in Cornwall in October, the great events that they were.

Exhibiting gave us the opportunity to meet so many ambitious, forward-thinking businesses from across the region. We showcased the latest sustainable merchandise, fresh ideas for brand engagement, and of course, our signature mix of fun and expertise.

The feedback we received was incredible, and it reaffirmed something we already knew: the Southwest business community is filled with people who are passionate, collaborative, and eager to grow. Being part of the show wasn’t just a chance to display what we do it was a chance to listen, learn, and connect.

Strengthening Our Partnerships Across the Southwest

2025 has also been a year of building deeper, more meaningful partnerships — particularly with the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.

Working with both Chambers has allowed us to support a huge range of events, initiatives, and member activities across the region. Whether we’re supplying branded products for key events, helping new members elevate their brand identity, or simply being part of the conversations shaping local business, these partnerships mean a great deal to us.

We’re proud to champion businesses across Cornwall, Devon, and beyond — and even more excited about what we’ll achieve together in 2026.

Coming Soon: The RUN Network

Now for something brand new — and something we’ve been wanting to share for a long time.

In early 2026, we’ll be officially launching the RUN Network here in Cornwall.

What is it? Think of it as a collaborative, energy-filled network designed to bring ambitious businesses together. National Writing Day – What’s Your Story? 📚

 

Every year on 25th June, the brilliant team at the National Literacy Trust invites us all to pause, put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), and celebrate National Writing Day, offering a chance to champion creativity, wellbeing, connection, and the magic that happens when we let our imaginations run wild.

But here’s the plot twist…

A recent 2024 study found that:

  • Less than 3 in 10 young people say they enjoy writing in their free time – the lowest levels ever recorded.
  • Only 1 in 9 write daily outside of school – half as many as last year.
  • The good news? Enjoyment of writing at school is on the up, with over 53% of students saying they like it – a 22% rise from last year!

Preventing a Potential Disaster: Why We’re Backing Prevented Ocean Plastic (PoP)

Sustainability isn’t just a trend at Boosters – it’s our commitment. So… what is Prevented Ocean Plastic?

Its recycled plastic made from discarded PET bottles, collected within 50km of coastlines or major waterways at risk of feeding plastic into the ocean. Most of this work is done in areas where waste management systems are limited or overwhelmed – helping communities, cleaning up the environment, and reducing harm to marine life.

Why is this such a big deal?

Every year, over 12 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean. Once it’s in, it’s tough to get out – salt water and sun degrade it quickly, making it almost useless for recycling. So instead of waiting for a clean-up, PoP steps in early – stopping plastic before it hits the water.

How can you tell if it’s PoP?

Look for the bold triangular blue logo on-pack. It’s fully traceable, meets strict safety standards, and is backed by global brands. Basically, it’s the real deal.

Is it working?

Yes! Since launching in 2022, the initiative has prevented over 1,000 tonnes of plastic pollution every month – and that number is rising.
